Ariel chair embodies a minimalist approach to design with a focus on its form and functionality. A result from the first collaboration between Mario Ferrarini and Davis Furniture, this multi-use chair’s design is forged from steel and then refined with wood components on the back and seat.
Ariel’s design features unique, subtle tapering on the seat back and legs which add a sense of modern playfulness that is impossible to overlook.

After graduating from the Politecnico University of Milan with a degree in Industrial Design, Mario Ferrarini began practicing as a consultant for a number of renowned architecture, furniture and product design studios. Ferrarini established his own studio in 2007, first in Como, Italy and then in Lugano, Switzerland.
His studio works on projects ranging from industrial product, furniture and interior design, alongside international companies such as Antoniolupi, Castelli, Crassevig, Desalto, de Sede, Franke, Jacuzzi, Ligne Roset, Living Divani, Poltrona Frau, Viccarbe and others. Mario Ferrarini creates products that are timeless, transcend passing trends and provide long-lasting solutions.
